Sets the FFTW planning strategy. FFTW generates and stores wisdom to help it optimise FFT calculations of given sizes. For each successive level of planning strategy, more work will be done to find the optimum calculation strategy the first time an unknown FFT size is encountered. The first-time calculation will be progressively slower, but the wisdom is stored and will make subsequent runs faster. For most users the default Estimate strategy is fine. If all your images are usually exactly the same size, you may wish to try Measure or Patient. Exhaustive is probably too slow for use with large images. Note that the initial plan for a given size and planning level takes longer to generate if you have selected multithreaded FFTW. This setting is used in Deconvolution, but is ignored by the Fourier Transform function which always uses Estimate, as the overhead generated by the other strategies is not worth it for a single Fourier Transform.
