	Adjust the hue and [purity](../../special-topics/color-management/color-dimensions.md#definitions) of the RGB primary colors (i.e. _which_ red, green and blue they represent), while leaving uncolored (gray) pixels unchanged. In addition to preserving gray pixels, the opponency relationships between the colors are also preserved under this adjustment: If you increase the purity of the blue primary, the opponent yellow's intensity increases to balance things out; If you twist the blue hue toward cyan, the opponent yellow is twisted toward orange.
	This module is essentially a channel mixer (as in the [color calibration](./color-calibration.md) module) but with a different interface. Even though the sliders are named "red", "green" and "blue", all adjustments are global and affect the overall colorimetry of the image, just like a channel mixer does.
	When applied before the [_filmic rgb_](./filmic-rgb.md) or [_sigmoid_](./sigmoid.md) tone mapping modules _rgb primaries_ can be used to make small adjustments to colorimetry. When applied after the tone mapping modules it may be used to apply creative edits such as tinting.
	red hue : Shift red towards yellow (positive values) or magenta (negative values)
	red purity : The purity of the red primary
	green hue : Shift green towards cyan (positive values) or yellow (negative values)
	green purity : The purity of the green primary
	blue hue : Shift blue towards magenta (positive values) or cyan (negative values)
	blue purity : The purity of the blue primary
	tint hue : When applied after tone mapping, this control allows the gray (achromatic) parts of the image to be tinted. When applied before tone mapping, it acts like a white balance control.
	tint purity : The purity of the tint that is applied to the image

	Correct chromatic aberrations.
	In contrast to the [_raw chromatic aberrations_](./raw-chromatic-aberrations.md) module, this module does not require raw data as input.

	To obtain the best result, you are advised to proceed as follows: 1. Attenuate the chromatic aberrations as much as possible in the [_lens correction_](./lens-correction.md) module using the TCA sliders. 2. Increase the strength slider in this module to better see its effect. 3. Increase the radius until the chromatic aberrations disappear. If this is insufficient, try enabling the "very large chromatic aberrations" setting. 4. Choose the guide that gives the best result in term of sharpness and artifacts. 5. Reduce the strength to avoid washing out the colors too much.
	For more complicated cases you could also try the following: - Use several instances with different correction modes -- for example, a first instance in "brighten only" mode, and a second in "darken only" mode. - Use several instances with low strength to correct the chromatic aberrations a little at a time without degrading colors too much. - Use the module with parametric or drawn masks. - Use RGB red, green and blue blend modes to restrict the effect to a particular channel.
	guide : The color channel that will be used as a reference for the correction.
	radius : The radius of the effect. Increase until chromatic aberrations are eliminated. This is the most important slider of the module.
	strength : This slider acts as a safeguard and can help to preserve colorful areas that do not suffer from chromatic aberrations. Increase for stronger correction, decrease for stronger preservation.
	correction mode : Allows you to restrict the effect to brighten or darken pixels only. For full control, this can be used in combination with R, G, B blend modes and multiples instances.
	very large chromatic aberrations : Makes the algorithm iterative to help in reducing very large chromatic aberrations.
	unbreak input profile
	Add a correction curve to image data. This is required if you have selected certain input profiles in the [_input color profile_](./input-color-profile.md) module.
	If you decide to use an ICC profile from the camera manufacturer in the [_input color profile_](./input-color-profile.md) module, a correction curve frequently needs to be pre-applied to image data to prevent the final output from looking too dark. This extra processing is not required if you use darktable's standard or enhanced color matrices.
	The correction curve is defined with a linear part extending from the shadows to some upper limit and a gamma curve covering mid-tones and highlights. For further information please see darktable's neighboring project [UFRaw](http://ufraw.sourceforge.net).
	linear : The upper limit for the region counted as shadows and where no gamma correction is performed. Typically values between 0.0 and 0.1 are required by the profile.
	gamma : The gamma value required to compensate the input profile. Often the required value is 0.45 (the reciprocal of the 2.2 gamma used by some manufacturer's profiles).
	vibrance (deprecated)
	Please note that this module is [deprecated](../../darkroom/processing-modules/deprecated.md) from darktable 3.6 and should no longer be used for new edits. Please use the vibrance control in the [_color balance rgb_](./color-balance-rgb.md) module instead.
